" About the region:

Nelson is a small city,. Horticulture including wine making, fishing and forestry are the main industries. Mountains, beaches, lakes are all within easy access. It is the art and craft center of NZ with the highest sunshine hours for our country.

" About the exchange:

Our exchange director arranges 2-3 day organized outings within the week which may include a trip to our lakes, a city tour, a horticultural tour, a Motueka or Golden Bay trip by boat or car. A walk in the famous Abel Tasman National Park. Is possible.
" Welcome and farewell dinners are sometimes held in members homes.
All club members are invited. We have many options available for all our overseas visitors. It is important to have several days without organized activities and opportunity for hosts and ambassadors to have time together.
